David Shipler, Pulitzer-prize winning author of the national best seller The Working Poor: Invisible in America, will present on his nationwide research about low-wage workers and the issues they bring to the workplace.
Shipler will also discuss soft skills versus hard skills and how economic hardship brings unique challenges to workplace relationships, and how employers can handle the demands.
