Alaska Aviation Museum Hall of Fame

The Alaska Aviation Museum’s Hall of Fame Gala is an annual fundraising and recognition event celebrating individuals who have made significant contributions to Alaska’s aviation history. The gala brings together community leaders, aviation enthusiasts, and museum supporters for an elegant evening of celebration and connection. Guests enjoy a welcome reception, a wonderful dinner, live music, and both silent and live auctions, followed by a formal induction ceremony. This year, the museum proudly inducts Charles Cole, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award; Maggie and Dennis Gladwin, recipients of the Explorer and Pathfinder Award; and Tim La Porte, recipient of the Entrepreneurial Award. Proceeds from the event support the museum’s educational programs, exhibits, and preservation efforts, ensuring Alaska’s aviation heritage is preserved for future generations.
