IT Systems Associate

Summary: Nonprofit seeking professional individual to assist with unique tax program that delivers services to rural Alaskan communities.

Schedule: November – April

Hours: 30 – 40/week; Monday – Friday; some weekends


  • Basic computer networking skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows10 and MS Office products
  • IT troubleshooting skills
  • Experience installing software
  • Experience troubleshooting printer and network issues


  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Friendly customer service skills; ability to establish professional working relationships
  • Self-starter with excellent organization skills
  • Detail oriented, proactive individual who takes ownership of their work
  • Work well alone, in teams and amongst diverse populations
  • Reliable – good/punctual attendance is essential

  • Install/update software
  • Configure laptops and printers
  • Pack travel equipment
  • Troubleshoot travel equipment
