Position:     Sous Chef
Location:     Girdwood
Pay Range:  $55,000

An incredible opportunity for a highly creative, experienced Sous Chef at a unique restaurant in Girdwood, Alaska. This is your chance to stretch your creativity as a designer and producer of culinary delights. This dining icon proudly offers world class guest experiences, using only the finest locally sourced Alaskan seafood and products, and highlighting cuisines from around the globe. You’ll oversee a great team of 10 to 13 employees, mentoring as well as managing, while being strong presence in the local community. Essential Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of experience as a Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook
  • ServSafe Certification
  • Experience with sourcing and efficiently utilizing sustainable local food
  • Strongly driven by creativity
  • Solid inventory practice experience
  • Menu engineering and labor management experience
  • Scheduling experience
  • Ability to mentor and manage employees
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience using office suite programs and building recipes
  • Strongly enthused about and supportive of local food and community
