Patient Care Coordinator

 
 
Position:    Patient Care Coordinator
Location:    Anchorage
Pay Range:  $17+/hour DOE

Our client is looking for a compassionate and experienced professional to provide patient support through efficient administrative and supportive functions. This is a busy clinic with a strong collaborative team – duties include but are not limited to; checking in patients, verifying insurance, scheduling, processing requests, coordinating lab and image studies, assisting patients and families by linking with internal and external resources. Essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • Medical office experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of EMS systems
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solving ability
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills
