Her vision is to cultivate Anchorage as a leader in the energy sector with smart\, business-based policies and programs.\n\n\n\nPrevious to her work at the Municipality of Anchorage\, Shaina spent nearly seven years dedicated to promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy through Renewable Energy Alaska Project. During high school and college Shaina spent six years with the Army National Guard as a heavy equipment operator within an engineering unit.
