Learn more about the Our Downtown Anchorage project at ourdowntownanchorage.com.\n\n\n\nPLUS\, a member presentation from the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness.\n \n\n\nKristine Bunnell\n\nMs. Bunnell is the Long-range Planning Manager in the Planning Department at the Municipality of Anchorage. Ms. Bunnell started her planning career at the City of Las Vegas in 1990\, and has worked in Las Vegas\, Lake Tahoe\, Reno\, Austin\, Texas and Yosemite National Park.\n\n\nPlanning and Project Management\n\nWild and Scenic River planning in Yosemite National Park and installation of park and trail projects in Texas and Nevada  projects are career highlights along with bringing focus and community support to Downtown Anchorage at this most important time in Anchorage's short history. \n\nEmployment\n\nMs. Bunnell currently manages a team of two planners and one admin who are very busy with land use planing and Title 21 code updates. The Long-range team also staffs three advisory commissions specifically focused on watersheds and natural resources\, historic preservation\, and the geotechnical issues facing development.\n\nEducation and Community Affiliations\n\n\n	\n	Ms. Bunnell has a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (1993) from the University of Redlands\, Redlands\, California.  \n	\n	\n	Ms. Bunnell is a National Park Service Certified Historic Preservation Planner\, and a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.  \n	\n	\n	Ms. Bunnell is also a published writer (Government Hill Yesterday and Today\, Western Planner\, and Sustain Alaska Magazine).
