This year it will be celebrated in participating neighborhoods in Anchorage\, Wasilla\, Palmer and Eagle River. Anyone who has experienced Trick or Treating with late October Alaskan weather knows what a borderline miserable experience it can be for our kids here (and their parents)! By holding it in early September\, the kids get to wear their costumes without cold weather gear. The 17th Annual TOTITH will be on Sunday\, September 8th. For most neighborhoods\, there will be an optional kickoff party running from 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM\, with door-to-door trick or treating from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM.
