DESCRIPTION:The Department of the Army is required to reduce its end strength from 570k to 450k personnel by 2017. The Army is sending a delegation of five key personnel to Alaska to hear comments from the public of possible impacts to our community.\n\n \n\nAlaska is too strategically important to the Army's mission to justify the elimination of the 4-25th Airborne Infantry Brigade at JBER and the 1st Stryker Brigade at Ft.
