DESCRIPTION:The American Red Cross of Alaska is pleased to share the 2023 Real Heroes Awards\; a showcase of Alaskan heroes doing what they do best   showing us that anybody can make a difference in the lives of others\, either by saving a life one day or tirelessly working each and every day for the benefit of Alaskan communities.\n\n\n\nFor the past 23 years\, we have gathered for Real Heroes and celebrated outstanding members of our communities in 11 different categories. Come hear the incredible stories of survival\, rescue\, and determination\, as we share what it means to be a true Alaskan hero.\n\n\n\nThe event will be held at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts in Anchorage on May 16. There will be a reception from 6-7pm with complimentary appetizers from CRUSH BISTRO\, and beverages including beer and wine available for purchase. The ceremony will run from 7-8:30pm with no intermission. Attire is semi-formal/semi-casual\, but please come dressed as you wish.
