This exciting competition invites 6th\, 7th\, and 8th grade students to showcase their civics knowledge and passion for community involvement\, with opportunities to earn recognition and cash prizes.\n\nThe Statewide Live Event will take place on Wednesday\, June 4th at Bear's Tooth Theatre in Anchorage.\n\nLast year\, Alaska's own Emily won the inaugural National Civics Bee\, bringing national recognition to our state and demonstrating the incredible talent of young Alaskans.\n\nThis year's Alaska State Champion will advance to represent our state at the National Civics Bee Championship in Washington\, DC this fall!
