DESCRIPTION:Speakers:\n\n\n	Mayor Berkowitz\n	Lance Wilber \n	Dave Kemp\, ADOT & PF\n\n\n \n\nMr. Kemp will be discussing DOT&PF's challenges in delivering a $200m+ transportation capital program\, it's value to the regional economy and the myriad of highway projects that Anchorage area residents will be seeing in summer 2017 and beyond.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nMayor Berkowitz and Lance Wilber will go over the bond passage and summer construction updates.\n\n \n\nThe forum will also be the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce's Annual Membership Meeting where they will give the annual Report to Membership.\n\n\n\nSPEAKERS ------------------------------------\n\n \n\nLance Wilber is the Municipality's Director for the Office of Management & Budget. His office leads the development of annual budgets including the Capital Improvement Program for the Municipality.  His experience and knowledge of delivering municipal services to citizens and business alike\, along with understanding of the day to day operations of the city makes every day a unique and enjoyable challenge.  Previously\, Lance held positions as the Public Transportation/(People Mover) Director\, Traffic Department Director\, the Transportation Planning Manager for the Municipality. He also served as ADOT&PF's Central Region Director.  He is a graduate of Oregon State University and Eastern Washington University with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning.  Lance and Wende have been married for 23 years\, have two children (21&18) and he enjoys every day in Alaska.\n\n\n\n-------------------------------------------------\n\n\n\nDave Kemp has a B.A. in Business Administration and a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is a licensed Civil Engineer\, a Project Management Professional and a licensed USCG skipper.\n\n\n\nDave starting his engineering career in 1981 in Swaziland\, Southern Africa\, assisting rural communities with potable water supply projects. Since that time\, Dave has spent over 35 years managing projects with volunteer\, private sector and public organizations\, including managing the state's two new sport fish hatcheries in Fairbanks and Anchorage.\n\n\n\nIn early 2016\, Dave accepted the position of Central Region Director at the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities.\n\n\n\n____________________________________________\n\nNew to Monday Forum?
