DESCRIPTION:Opinions and ideas about Alaska oil and gas industry issues are all over the map. This event will provide clarity around some topics that have grabbed headlines and sparked conversations across Alaska.\n\n\n\nIn addition\, Caelus Energy Alaska\, the independent oil company that recently announced an exciting new discovery at Smith Bay on the North Slope\, will join AOGA to tell Chamber members more about their plans in Alaska. \n\n\n\n MEET THE SPEAKERS\n\n\n\nSarah Erkmann\, APR\, AOGA\, External Affairs Manager\n\nSarah joined AOGA in 2012 and is responsible for managing the organization's media relations\, external communications\, and legislative affairs. Prior to joining AOGA\, Sarah worked as the Communications Director for Anchorage Mayor Dan Sullivan\, as a senior account manager for a local public relations agency\, and as a pharmaceutical salesperson. Her first job after returning home from college was with Channel 2 News as a weekend producer. A lifelong Alaskan\, Sarah is graduate of Service High School\, and the University of Oregon. Sarah serves on the School Board for Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton School\, and is married to Jason Ward\, with whom she has three young children. \n\n\n\n\n\nCasey Sullivan\, Caelus Energy Alaska\, Director of Public Affairs\n\nCasey Sullivan is a fourth-generation Alaskan born and raised in Anchorage. He currently serves as the director of public affairs for Caelus Energy Alaska   an independent exploration and production company. Mr. Sullivan has twenty years in public affairs serving in positions at the state and federal level\, and having assisted many local and national corporations navigate the public affairs arena.  Casey has served as the board chair of the Alaska State Chamber and on the Providence Foundation Board of Directors.  He has served his community for many years through a variety of philanthropic organizations.
