In addition to running Alera ConnectHR\, Thomas provides executive HR services to Alera ConnectHR's clients\, and takes on the occasional compensation project.\n\n\n\nBefore starting Alera ConnectHR\, Thomas served as an HR executive for several of the region's major employers. He's been an active member of the community through his service on non-profit boards and advocacy for lowering the cost of health care for employers and employees. \n\n\n\nThomas holds a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation from World at Work and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Oregon. \n\n\n\nAs a Senior Benefits Advisor\, Terry Allard\, CEBS\, has extensive knowledge of employee benefits.  In fact\, she has been with The Wilson Agency since 1997 and has been working in the employee benefits industry since 1985.  Her clients benefit a great deal from her breadth and depth of experience.  Terry specializes in groups with over 50 employees\, executive compensation strategies\, and disability plans for highly compensated individuals.\n\n\n\nTerry holds a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits and a Group Benefits Disability Specialist Certification from The National Underwriter Company. She has completed the PPACA certification course and the Consumer Directed Health Care (CDHC) certification courses through the National Association of Health Underwriter.  Terry is a charter member and Past President of the Alaska Chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters.  \n\n\n\nPrior to working at The Wilson Agency\, Terry worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska.  During those 11 years\, Terry gained a thorough understanding of the marketing\, administration\, and underwriting of fully insured health plans.\n\n\n\nTerry has called Alaska home since 1983.
