He is a lifelong Alaskan\, small business owner\, and general contractor with multiple certifications focusing on weatherization\, building restoration and inspections. He is currently the Director of Facilities for NeighborWorks Alaska\, overseeing the operations and maintenance of 950\,000 square feet within the Municipality of Anchorage. He has served as Vice Chair of Habitat for Humanity Anchorage from 2002 until 2012\, and also as the past president and owner of Home Restorations from 1998 until 2013.
