She is also passionate about our libraries.\n\n\n\nLaFrance grew up in Palmer\, Alaska and has lived in South Anchorage since 1997. She and her husband\, Dave Hemstreet\, have three children. Through the years\, Suzanne has spent much of her time volunteering for local organizations such as Hospice\, the Alaskan Literacy Program\, her children's schools and the Boy Scouts.
