DESCRIPTION:There are several Municipal\, State and Federal initiatives providing unique opportunities for Alaskan entrepreneurs\, such as the 49th State Angel Fund\, crowdfunding/crowdsourcing\, the AEA's Emerging Technology Fund\, Startup Weekend\, Hackathons and Maker Faires.\n\n \n\nLucinda Mahoney\, chief financial officer for the Municipality of Anchorage\; Jon Bittner\, director of business/ economic development at the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation\; and Allen Johnston\, chief encouragement officer of The Entrepreneurs and Mentors Network Inc.
