DESCRIPTION:In recognition of the sixth annual National Infrastructure Week - cosponsored by the US Chamber of Commerce\, ASCE\, and other business and labor organizations - ASCE Alaska Section is presenting an update to the Alaska Infrastructure Report Card presentation delivered to the Chamber in 2017. This update will include the premiere of a new video produced by Upper One Studios providing an overview of the State's infrastructure challenges and opportunities.\n\n\n\nGreg Kinney is a Senior Project Engineer with Alyeska Pipeline Service Company\, where he has worked since 1989. He is also an ASCE Region 8 Governor\, which covers nine western states and Western Canada.\n\n\n\nTor Anderzen is a Aviation Engineer and leader of the Airports Group at HDL Engineering Consultants. He has thirteen years of airport planning and design experience and is licensed as a Professional Civil Engineer in Alaska and Montana.Tor has lived in the US since 2000\, and Alaska since 2011. After a ten-year career as a land surveyor\, Tor returned to College in 2002. Tor earned both his Bachelors and Master's Degrees in Civil Engineering at Michigan Technological University. Tor has been active in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) since 2007 first in the Montana Section and since 2011 in the Alaska Section.
