DESCRIPTION:From her perspective as co-chair of the Senate Finance Committee\, Senator von Imhof will give an overview of past events leading up to the current fiscal choices in front of the legislature\, the current budget\, and the proposed budget for the next fiscal year. With that background\, she will explore the solutions proposed and the current political landscape. This will be illuminating for members as it will provide an "inside look" at the legislative process regarding the state budget and income.\n\n\n\nPLUS\, a presentation from Kate Sprout\, Director of Sales & Marketing at the Hilton Anchorage.\n\n \n\n\n\n\nNatasha von Imhof is fourth generation Alaskan. She was born and raised in Anchorage. She earned a BS from Harvard College and went on to receive her MBA from the University of Washington. Natasha worked as a branch manager and commercial loan officer for National Bank of Alaska and as a financial analyst for Latash Investments. She sits on the boards of the Atwood Foundation and Rasmuson Foundation. Natasha served on the Anchorage School Board from 2012-2015. In 2016\, she was elected to the Alaska State Senate and is currently Co-Chair of the Senate Finance Committee. Natasha lives in Anchorage with her husband and two children. In her spare time\, she enjoys running\, hiking\, reading and cooking.\n\n \n\n\nNew to Monday Forum?
