However\, the landscape of the future has drastically changed for our students\, including how we prepare our students for college and careers. For example\, 70% of jobs in today's job market require some sort of technical training. Flashback to 40 years ago and it was only about 20%. Big difference. Big change. It means ASD has to change and transform the way we prepare our students for their future as adults after high school.\n\n\n\nSince 2021\, ASD has been researching how to make the needed changes. The research zeroed in on revamping the high school experience. This led our team to the Ford Motor Company Fund and its program\, Ford Next Generation Learning or Ford NGL.
