DESCRIPTION:This workshop will be presented by Chelsea Riekkola of Foley\, Foley & Pearson\, a law firm practicing exclusively in the areas of estate planning\, probate\, trust administration\, and business planning. Chelsea will answer attendees' questions about estate planning and will cover topics like:\n\n\n	Powers of Attorney\;\n	Guardianships/Conservatorships\;\n	Advance Health Care Directives\;\n	Joint Titling and Beneficiary Designations\;\n	Wills\;\n	Trusts\;\n	Probate\; and\n	Estate Taxes.\n\n\n\n\n-------------------------------\n\n\n\nChelsea Riekkola\, Foley Foley & Pearson\, P.C.\n\n\n\nChelsea Ray Riekkola was born and raised in Anchorage\, Alaska. She graduated from Dimond High School in 2006 and received an athletic scholarship to Missouri State University\, where she was a member of the NCAA Division I swimming and diving team. She matriculated with a bachelor's degree in marketing.\n\n\n\nChelsea received her J.D. from the University of Oregon\, focusing her studies on estate planning and probate law. While in law school\, Chelsea also wrote and published an article for the American Bar Association Journal of Real Property\, Trust and Estate Law on handling digital assets after death. Chelsea has since presented to the Alaska Bar Association on multiple occasions regarding laws affecting digital assets in estate planning.\n\n\n\nIn 2013\, Chelsea returned to Alaska as a clerk for Judge Patrick McKay of the Anchorage Superior Court. She now practices as an attorney at the Anchorage estate planning firm of Foley\, Foley & Pearson P.C.\, where she has worked since 2014. During her practice she has become involved in a number of community organizations including the Anchorage Bar Association\, where she previously served as President of the Young Lawyers Section\, and the Anchorage Association of Women Lawyers where she served as Treasurer and Co-Chair of the Social Media Committee. Chelsea currently serves as Co-Chair of the Executive Committee of the Estate Planning Section of the Alaska Bar Association\, and participates as a member of the Anchorage Estate Planning Council\, WealthCounsel\, YWCA of Alaska\, and the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\n-------------------------------\n\n\n\nFOLLOW OUR EVENTS ON FACEBOOK!\n\n\n\nThis lunch-time educational seminar is geared towards business owners\, entrepreneurs and young professionals.
