Our next monthly meeting will be a dedicated Town Hall to select a new name\, update the mission statement\, and recreate a network that reaches more people than ever before.\n\n\n\nIf you're self-employed in any facet\, register today to make sure your voice is heard and the community you need is built!\n\n\n\nSHARE FACEBOOK EVENT\n\n \n\n\n\n\nAGEN Mission Statement\n\nTo advance opportunities for gig workers and expand Anchorage's workforce prospects\, allowing individuals to work\, play\, and live in our city.\n\nAGEN Vision\n\n\n	Creating a space for gig workers to connect and share lessons learned\, challenges and solutions\n	Allowing the chamber to be more educated with gig economy business needs\n	Igniting advocacy on issues that improve the rights and benefits of the gig economy\n\nThe Anchorage Gig Economy Network\, a FREE group formed by the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce as part of our Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion Program\, is for those that share a common interest in the future of the new gig economy and how it impacts the Anchorage business community.\n\n\n\nThis includes app-based workers\, freelancers\, independent contractors\, consultants\, the professional service sector\, and the like\, working and living in Anchorage. It is about more than just Uber and Lyft. It is a sounding board for anything relating to the Gig Economy. Airbnb\, Rover\, DoorDash\, Etsy\, Instacart\, freelancing community\, etc.\n\n\n\nCome share your wealth of information as a seasoned worker\, learn pointers as a newbie\, make new friends and even learn a new trick or two. Information is power!
