DESCRIPTION:Anchorage Chamber Military Appreciation Picnic.....and Concert!\nWe're closing out Military Appreciation Week with a bang! To make our appreciation for the military bigger than ever we're combining our luncheon and picnic on Friday\, June 10\, 2022. That means a picnic AND a concert for all military members and their families. The picnic is held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at JBER- Richardson at Cottonwood Park Playground with live music until 5:30 p.m.\n\n\n\nThe Anchorage Chamber works closely with JBER\, USO\, ASYMCA\, and other organizations to provide a variety of fun\, family-friendly activities during the picnic. This year we're hoping to include face painting\, playground activities\, basketball\, volleyball\, and of course couple of great local bands to close the night out.\n\n\n\nThis event is full of food\, music\, and fun for the entire family. Each year the Anchorage Chamber solicits nearly 150 volunteers to serve 5\,000 local service members and their families.\n\n \nIf you would like to host a booth fill out the vendor form.\n\nTo volunteer*\, click here. The deadline to register to volunteer is 5 p.m. May 20th.\n\n*Please register\, even if you have base access\, so the Chamber knows how many volunteers will be available for each shift.
