TODAY! FEBRUARY 22 "Make it Monday" forum Chugach Electric - Serving our members and the community following the acquisition of ML&P
The acquisition of Municipal Light & Power by Chugach Electric closed on Oct. 30, 2020. Nearly four months after the sale was final, Chugach CEO Lee Thibert will provide the latest on the consolidation. The update will include details on the closing, welcoming new employees and members into the Chugach system, a look at rates, and other benefits of combining the utilities. Thibert will also discuss Chugach's programs to support the use of electric vehicles, and efforts to align utilities in the Railbelt to better serve Alaskans. |
