Job Description

The House Supervisor will provide direct care for consumers and supervision of staff. The House Supervisor will be responsible for consumer and staff scheduling, delegating on-site duties, all staff on-site training, and ensuring quality service delivery to consumers and their families. Work closely with Case Manager/Supervisor in the selection and evaluation of staff. Responsible for activity planning for consumers in the house, and all residential paperwork. Participate in meetings, including but not limited to, Plan of Care, guardian/residents and staff meetings.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: Associates Degree in Nursing. One (1) year management or supervisory and social service experience with individuals who experience an intellectual or developmental disability. Six (6) months experience working with people who experience intellectual or developmental disabilities. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, required amount of insurance, continuous use of a vehicle, must be able to pass a background check, current TB skin test/health screening. Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and MANDT certification.

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Two (2) years’ management or supervisory and social service experience with individuals who experience an intellectual or developmental disability. Two (2) years’ experience working with people who experience intellectual or developmental disabilities.
