In accordance with The Arc of Anchorage’s mission, vision and core values, The Supported Employment Services Team Leader II is responsible for the overall coordination and planning of the Supported Employment Program. This position acts as a liaison with The Arc of Anchorage, the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Community Vendors and/or DSDS in coordinating the placement of individuals seeking supported employment. The S.E.S. Team Leader II oversees the provision of services and supports to individuals in accordance with each individual’s identified outcomes as well as The Arc’s Mission Statement and Core Values. This includes participation in the development of each person’s Service Plan/ Habilitation/Treatment Plan, assuring all documentation of service provision, and assuring that services meet the goals and objectives as outlined in each planning document. The S.E.S. Team Leader II is responsible for the daily operation of the program by managing its resources in an efficient manner with outcomes that are aligned with the personal outcomes of the individuals served. The S.E.S. Team Leader II is accountable to the person receiving supports, their team, and the agency.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: Associate’s Degree in Human Services. Five (5) years social services experience working with people who experience an intellectual or developmental disability. Six (6) months Supervisory or Management experience. Valid Alaska driver license, clean driving record, proof of insurance, current TB skin test/health screening and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or Related Field. Seven (7) years social services experience working with people who experience an intellectual or developmental disability. One (1) year Supervisory or Management experience.
