Job Description
The Systems Technician II is responsible for maintaining the IT functions for The Arc of Anchorage, under the guidance of senior IT staff. This includes, but is not limited to; having a technical understanding of industry best practices regarding workstation hardware and software, monitoring tools, internal and external networking, and IT security. The Systems Technician II assists the IT Manager in ensuring end user satisfaction, computer system integrity, and network security.


Required: Associate’s Degree in Computer Science. A+, MCP, Network+, MCSA, MCT Certifications a plus. Two (2) additional years of Network Administration and troubleshooting network issues experience. Valid AK Driver's license, clean driving record, proof of insurance, current TB Skin Test and able to pass a background check.

Preferred: MCSE Certification. Four (4) years of Network Administration and troubleshooting network issues experience.
