Job Description
The Human Resource Assistant provides technical assistance to the Human Resource department in the areas of applicant file maintenance, database maintenance, and word processing. Duties also include communicating with the public, job applicants, and employees.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: 
: High School Diploma/GED and proficiency with Microsoft Office Software. Sufficient education or professional administrative experience to have attained skills required for the position; strong word-processing skills, spreadsheets, filing, ten key, accuracy in spelling, grammar and proofing; demonstrated experience with databases; demonstrated computer proficiency.

Preferred: Associate's Degree.  One (1) year Human Resources experience.
