Local organization looking for experienced Executive Assistant to join their team.  Ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of executive level experience and have supported multiple Executives at one time. Your days will be filled with a variety of demanding and challenging tasks and you will have the organizational skills and flexibility to perform them while maintaining a positive attitude and helpful manner.  You will enjoy interacting with a diverse group of people, including Board of Directors, and have a strong understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality.

Duties & Responsibilities 
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
  • Arrange travel schedule and reservations for executives as needed
  • Responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants, consultants, and Board of Directors, to coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings and events
  • Assist executives with scheduling and other personal and professional activities
  • Aid and support function of personnel reviews
  • Receive and screen communications to executive including telephone calls and email messages, and provide assistance using independent judgment to determine those requiring priority attention; prioritize, channel, and facilitate communication from department heads, department coordinators and staff
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned, including a significant number of duties that are assigned as the need arises, both permanent and temporary
 
Required Qualifications
  • College degree preferably in Business, English, or Communications
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting at the executive level
  • Experience working with Board of Directors
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to be very flexible, to work with deadlines and confidential issues
  • Experience scheduling travel arrangements for management
  • Must be mature, reliable, self-directed, organized, detail oriented and possess a positive, outgoing attitude
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management
