Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:

The Program Assurance Specialist oversees the provision of services and supports to individuals in accordance with each individual’s identified outcomes as well as The Arc’s Mission Statement and Guiding Values. This includes ensuring all documentation of services provided meet the goals and objectives as outlined in each planning document. The Program Assurance Specialist is accountable to the person receiving supports, their team, and the agency.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: Associates Degree in Human Services or related field. Two (2) years’ experience in human services along with 1 year of working with people who experience an intellectual or developmental disability. Valid AK Driver’s license, clean driving record, proof of insurance, current TB Skin Test/health screening and be able to pass a background check. Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and MANDT certification.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field. Four (4) years’ experience in human services along with two (2) years of working with people who experience an intellectual or developmental disability.
